Executive summary

Executive summary

A £1.5bn record, quietly undersold online

St Paul's Cathedral seen through the glass walkway at One New Change, London

( 01 )

Cohort Capital has deployed over £1.5bn across UK real estate credit since 2019, with zero capital loss and facilities up to £100m.

( 02 )

One clean engagement: a fixed, all-in redesign on WordPress that makes Cohort the obvious reference point for institutions, brokers, borrowers and the press.

The challenge

The challenge

Credibility is decided before the first call.

( Challenge 01 )

A site that undersells the record.

Funders form a view long before anyone speaks to you, and today the site shows three different records: £1bn on the homepage, £1.32bn in the ResiOne launch, £1.72bn in the Park Tower release. That drift adds friction to every first read.

( Challenge 02 )

One story for three audiences.

Brokers, institutions and the press each arrive needing a different thing, quickly. Today, product terms live only in a PDF, ResiOne has no page of its own, and your investor relations team has no surface at all.

( Challenge 03 )

Claims without disclosure.

A £348m facility alongside King Street and Apollo is your strongest institutional proof, and it is buried in a news article. NoMad and Chilham Castle are featured on the homepage with no detail pages behind them. The record exists; it is not disclosed where it counts.

( The instrument )

A credibility instrument, not a lead generation site.

Cohort writes facilities from £1m to £100m. A single mid-size line is hundreds of times what this redesign costs. It only has to help win or hold one of them, once. A comparison of scale, not a claim of return.

A due-diligence surface.

Early design study for the new Cohort Capital homepage.

( 01 )

A page per product (ResiOne, ResiPrime, Commercial) with clear criteria, a filterable Transactions library, and an Insights hub.

( 02 )

The register: classic London institutions, modern glass, disclosure-led restraint. Clear, simple, decisive, and at home beside the Precede, Karis and Blackstone references in your brief.

Intermediaries and borrowers

Governance and evidence, verifiable

OUR RECOMMENDATION

The full redesign does the job in the brief: a page per product, the filterable Transactions showcase, and two libraries your team updates without a developer. Essential is the route if the budget is fixed. Showpiece is for a firm that wants the site itself to be evidence of standing.
